Entry #73 I Can't for *100ThemesChallenge Journal entry: [link] Kai and one of her pups out for a run. ------- "Mother!" Kai glanced back at the pup, watching as he struggled over a large rock. Well, large for him. Kai had leapt nibmly over it. "I won't have weak children. You can do it." He obeyed and clambered over it, wanting to please his mom. Once over, he stumbled and fell panting. "Mom, please," he whimpered. "I... Mom, I just can't keep up with you." Kai paused to let the pup scrable to his feet. Something Sakima had warned her about earlier flashed through her mind. 'These pups aren't learner age yet, they aren't like you. You need to let up on them once in a while.' "Come here." Kai sighed. Her pup trundled towards the front of her, still panting a bit. She bent down and lifted him up by the scruff of his neck and carried him the last mile towards home. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
